Transfiguration Classroom

[Theo Nott]

Theo looked up from his notes and winced at what had just happened. Turning back to his mouse he focused and flicked his wand once more in the attempt to change the blood to acid. The spell failed once again.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy kept her eyes on the ground, even though she felt that Leastrange was watching her closely.
She tried breathing in and out slowly to forget about the pain his spell cause, to ignore the wet feeling under her uniform.
She set the new mouse on her desk and took out her wand, focusing on the spell in silence.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus turned his attention from the students once again, after watching pansy for several moments.

[Theo Nott]

Theo looked over at Pansy again. "You should heal your arm." He told her softly hoping to prevent Lestrange from hearing him. "It could play havock on your transfigurations if you wand slips from the blood on your hand."

[Pansy Parkinson]

She gazed at her housemate briefly and offered him a smile.
"Later, after class," she whispered.

[Theo Nott]

Theo shrugged and turned back to his own assignment, he really hoped she didnt botch her spell, because that would be bad for everyone.

Rolling her shoulder a bit, Pansy pointed her wand at the mouse and cast the spell again.
The small rodent started to swallow in front of her eyes, a horrible noise coming out of its mouth, then all of the sudden bounced from desk to desk, hitting everything around, fortunately missing the Professor, only to land in front of Pansy and start melting.
She gazed at Professor Lestrange, prepared for another curse, panic in her eyes.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus looked up at the scream of the mouse a sadistic smile on his face. "Finally success." He said and watched as the mouse jumped around the room before settling back in front of pansy and melting.

"Well done Parkinson." He said as he approached. "Your control needs more work though." He added. "What should i have you do to work on that?" He mused tapping his wand on his thigh.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Success? Did he day success?
Pansy frowned a bit but tried to keep her face straight.
"Thank you Sir," she replied, her eyes on his wand as he tapped it to his hip.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Try again." He said and levitated another mouse in front of her. "Do not allow it off your desk."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy gulped. First time she almost hit the Professor with a mouse, second time she hit every desk....
"Yes, Professor," she replied and eyed the mouse doubtfully.

[Ginny Weasley]

Ginny was just glad to have the creeper's attention elsewhere, watching out of the corner of her eye as Parkinson, unsurprisingly made sure she had his full attention, though for once she didn't seem like she was entirely convinced she wanted it.

The redhead was really just playing with her mice now, careful to look like she was attempting it whenever Lestrange glanced over though mostly she was just sending tickling spells at the rodents.

As Pansy finally seemed to get the hang of the acid spell however, Ginny's face hardened, casting the girl a disgusted look as she didn't even blink as the poor creature descintigrated on her desk. These people were disgusting... even being intimidated by Lestrange, how could she be so unfeeling towards creating such pain in other creatures? Then again, she probably just enjoyed the attention...

[Theo Nott]

Theo watched the exchange between Pansy and the Professor. He saw that this could go one of two ways, either Pansy succeeded and Lestrange left her be, or she failed and was cursed once more.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Well?" Rodolphus asked Pansy with a raised eyebrow, as he waited for her to attempt the spell.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"If you're sure about this, Professor," Pansy trailed off, flexing her hand before picking up her wand and pointing it at the mouse.
She murmured the spell, focusing hard, imagining she was alone in the classroom. Turn into acid, turn into acid, she said in her head.
The mouse didn't seem to move a muscle, however, a few seconds after, she looked up as another animal was screaming.
Pansy gazed around to see if any of the other students had succeeded the spell, but the noise came from one of the cages on the Professor's table.
"Sh!t!" Pansy exclaimed.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus turned at the sound and looked over to the cage then back to Pansy. "I do not understand your lack of control." he told her bringing his wand up. "Crucio." he said almost seductively, the spell held Pansy for only a moment. "Detention tonight as well, you will perfect your control." he informed her before glancing around the class once more to ensure everyone was working.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy squealed when the pain hit her, her fingers grabbing the edge of her desk so hard that they turned white. She could feel tears roll down her cheeks but she bit the inside of them to prevent herself from screaming.
"Y...yes, Professor," she almost whispered, keeping her eyes down.

[Theo Nott]

Theo winced as the spell his Pansy. He looked back to his mouse to get his eyes off the girl. Flicking his wand he attempted once more to turn the mouse's blood into acid, and failed again.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus nodded and moved back to his desk. His eyes once more scanning the room.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Moving as silently as she could, Pansy wiped off the tears and picked up her wand again. But her hand was shaking so hard that she placed it back on her desk and focused on breathing.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Noticing Pansy's movement Rodolphus smirked, maybe the witch would learn her lesson.

Determined and stubborn, Pansy frowned and picked up her wand again, a small thread of blood coming out of her sleeve.
She straightened her back, eying the white rodent on her desk.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco slipped into Transfiguration class and took a seat in the back.

[Caden McGinnis]

Caden also entered, his eyes locking on the stern-looking man behind the teacher's desk. He was a far-cry from McGonnagall, and there was a strange...eerie look in his eyes. No matter, the boy proceeded to a nearby desk.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco's gaze flicked over McGinnis... Alecto's Ravenclaw Pet. However he didn't comment, still as of yet unsure of what, exactly, his uncle's temper was like- after all he'd spent a lifetime (at least Draco's) in Azkaban.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Turning when the two entered the classroom Rodolphus watched them take a seat. "Your assignment is to turn one mouses blood to water and the other to an acid of your choice." He told them indicating the cages set aside.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco rose a brow... why was that even relevant? Shaking his head lightly the blond stood to get his mice from the area the Professor kept them.

[Millicent Bulstrode]

Millicent entered and overheard the class assignment before falling in step behind her housemate to grab her own mouse. Once she had, she cast a quick glance about the room before deciding to sit near Caden. "Hey there," she winked.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Walking into the room, Alex made his way to Caden after nodding to Ginny. "What's the assignment?" he asked his housemate.

Though, from the looks of it, he already inferred that he wouldn't much like it. He caught sight of Pansy then, who was in a miserable state and couldn't help but feel somewhat sympathetic towards the girl. She appeared very frustrated.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco watched as Millicent latched on to the loud boy and rolled his eyes. His house sucked so much- which was an odd realization after so many years of thinking it was so great.
