The classroom itself is big, surrounded by high windows, has four rows of three desks, and still has enough room for several cages and bookshelves, two chalkboards, and a desk for the Professor.

Rodolphus entered the classroom looking around in satisfaction at the new decor.
There are some strange items placed around the room, that are grotesque and dark. Several paintings of people attempting transfigurations, some failing, some succeeding. One large painting shows a duel between two wizards, one of which uses transfiguration to great effect in defeating his opponent.
Taking a seat at his desk he moved a small box, that was filled with small bone chips, that looked suspiciously like teeth, that he used for a paperweight and began to go through his lesson plans once again.

The door to the room pushed open without any form of knock or pretend at politeness as Amycus slunk in without announcement, a small smirk curving on his lips as his eyes rested on Rodolphus.
"Hey Roddy~" he singsonged, moving to hop up to sit on the man's desk, uncaring that he was currently on the lesson plan that the other wizard had been working on. "Been a while. How was Azkaban? I hear it's nice this time of year."

Rodolphus looked up when his door opened and smiled in amusement as Amycus stepped in.
His smile turned to a slight frown when he was called 'Roddy' and a deeper one as Amycus sat on his lesson plan that was still wet with ink.
"Well Amy," he drawled. "Azkaban was an excellent vacation from you." he added with a smirk. "Must you sit on my desk?" he asked in exasperated fondness, to be honest he had missed his interactions with the Carrows, they were always out for a good time.

"Mmm, are we doing pet names already? I do feel special," the other male chuckled, the noise not entirely sane as he ignored the admodishment about being on the desk, instead stretching out cat like along the wood, legs carelessly booting off some of his papers as he lounged out fully, half looking like he expected his belly to be rubbed for the trouble. "Though you should probably buy me dinner first."
"Must you ask the obvious?" he countered with an unrepentant grin, elbow bracing on desk to hold his head up. "Worth a visit then? I always considered it, you know, dropping by to say hello to all you and all that, but call me crazy I preferred to go somewhere with a prettier view..."

Rodolphus shook his head. "It really is good to see you Amycus." he told the other man, as he causally flicked his wand and fixed his papers.
Leaning back in his own chair he settled his feet on the corner of the desk. "I suppose the view could have been better, and it would have been nice if the heating charms worked." he said thoughtfully. "You should have come to visit, you never know the actual view might have pleased you."

"Mm, call me crazy but I prefer my chains attached to beds," he offered back with a lazy shrug, pausing as he considered that a moment. "Or dungeons. They can be fun too... but then I expect Alecto showed you all about that while you were dating."
At the last comment, the man shot Rodolphus an amused look, well aware of his sister's tastes. They shared them after all. Then again, they shared most things.
"And it's always good to see me, I'm a gift like that," he added with a flash of teeth, dark eyes assessing as they ran over the other male's form.
"You haven't changed much," he offered at last, voice lower and more serious than his usual half crazed tone. "Shoved Bella half way down crazy-ville... actually scratch that, she was half way before hand. Shoved her all the way, and don't even get me started on what it did to Crouch... But you seem the same as ever."

"Oh yes, your sister showed me a great many things while we were together." Rodolphus replied with a slight smirk.
He shook his head once again in amusement at the comments about being a gift.
His smirk slid from his face when the other man's tone changed to a more serious one. "It wasn't a pleasant place." he replied with a small grimace. "But I cant refute what it did to Bellatrix, nor Crouch." he agreed. "My brother as well, the three of them seemed to have a more severe reaction to the prison than I did." he stopped for a few moments to gather his thoughts.
"I think we all knew why we were there." he began after a few moments. "Bellatrix and Rabastan, were both already a bit unhinged to start with. The dementors and lack of anything but gray and bland caused them to fully break." he shared his theory. "As for me, I went in knowing what it was going to be like, or at least thinking I knew. I spent hours each day simply sitting there focusing on one thing, trying not to let my mind drift. What ifs are useless in a place like Azkaban, all you can do is make the best of what you have. Fighting it is useless, accepting that the place is going to be hell, now that, that is probably what saved my mind."
"Knowing I was there for a righteous cause. Knowing that My Lord would one day come back and free me, my faith in his ability was unwavering. I knew I would leave that place. I knew I would not die there. I accepted that I was stuck there until we were freed, and knowing one day we would be free once more, that was a thought, a feeling that the dementors could not take from me."

Amycus's head tilted as he considered the other man, expression oddly serious as his onyx eyes flickered over his face in silence as he spoke before at last reaching out to run his hand down the side of Rodolphus's face, giving his cheek one pat before finally letting his limb fall away.
"You're more than people give your credit for, you know that?" he mused, mouth quriking up in a small, ironic smile, in that instant looking almost sane himself.... until the illusion was ruined as he abruptly reverted back to his general demenour, toothy grin flashing as his face melted back to playful "Though I admit, I'm dissapointed - I was looking forward to meeting crazy-Roddy. He was going to be fun."

Having lost himself in the moment Rodolphus leaned into Amycus's touch. He blinked a few times as he finally came back to the present, his mind having been deeply lost in his time spent in Azkaban. "Thanks Amycus." he said. "Though I dont quite know what you mean about me, being more than people give me credit for." he said.
"I admit that I came close to joining my wife and brother in insanity," he began. "but something always pulled me back. I have no idea what it was, but something told me that I needed to keep myself." he told his friend. "I am sure that I will still have my crazy-Roddy moments, as everyone seems to do."

The pale wizard's eyes glittered mouth curving up higher as he watched his fellow death eater lean favourably into his touch like a cat himself.
"No I don't suppose you do," he commented lightly, letting his body fall back onto his back and arching it up as he stretched out luxuriously, leaving the comment at that. Tucking one arm behind his head, the man turned to look lazily at Rodolphus again, offering him a feline smirk.
"Well if you ever feel like having a crazy moment, come find me," he offered with a low chuckle. "We can have some fun before you sober up."

Rodolphus grinned himself, his eyes flashing as they always did at the thought of an evening or adventure with Amycus. "Oh I will most certainly take you up on that offer." he said. "It has been a long time since you and I went hunting." he added as a reminder.
"So how have things been with you and your sister?" he asked, knowing that he would get a decent answer from Amycus. Alecto was more likely to curse him, because of how their relationship had ended.

"To long," he purred back, mouth curving up in a sultry promise as his eyes held the other males.
As the conversation turned towards Alecto however the expression shifted to dry amusement instead.
"Dull but comfortable," he replied with a small shrug. "Ally felt we should keep our head down when they started dragging people off to Azkaban, so we made nice and played the game. Stayed away from Muggle filth and held our wands around the mudbloods. Didn't even see that much of the old crowd that were left. Your darling brother in law on occasion, though strangely enough he never seemed to want to linger - can't imagine why, Dolohov back and forth, McNair and Sanders mostly."
"After things died down we relaxed a bit," he added with an idle shrug. "Stared being a bit bolder, venturing out and having some fun, but it was never the same thrill as it was in the old days."
His mouth curved up in satisfaction.
"Its good to have everything back as it should be... well, almost everything...." Turning his head, the man raised an accusing eyebrow. "You know you never did tell me what it was about Bellatrix Black that had you dumping Ally in her favour."

Rodolphus smiled at the look that came across Amycus's face. It was one that he had seen may times in the past right before a raid, or a bit of muggle hunting. "We will have our chance to go out once again. Or at the very least make examples of the Mudbloods here within the castle." he pointed out.
"It is a good thing you stayed out of the way." he said. "The Dark Lord needed followers who were able to help him once he reemerged. If we were all in Azkaban, things wouldn't have gone as well as they have, it would have made things more difficult." he stated with conviction.
He sighed when the other man mentioned Bellatrix and Alecto. "You ask a difficult question Amycus." he said after a few moments silence to gather his thoughts. "It is complicated," he began. "my family had been in talks with the Blacks for years about a marriage between the families. Everything was slated for Rabastan as the elder of the two of us, to be contracted. Then something went wrong, I don't know what, but the only way it was going to work out was if I was contracted instead." he stopped and rubbed his temples.
"There is more than that too, because we could have avoided the contract, but Bellatrix..." he trailed off, his eyes taking on a far away look. "She has something about her, a spark, a fire that burns bright and warm, it drew me to her once we were formally introduced. Things just spiraled out from there. I never meant to hurt Alecto, and I know that I have."

"Oh I've already started," the pale wizard assured him, manic grin flashiing over his features as he let out a low sinister chuckle of laughter. "Mudbloods and bloodtraiters abount! I admit I wasn't keen to be stuck babysitting at first, but dear Alecto has opened my eyes to the possibilities. It's not as satisfying as a good old fashioned muggle hunt - less blood and dismemberment, but I do still get my screams~"
His eyes shifted over amused at the comment about he and his sister having done the right thing, though a sharp glitter of interest lingered in their depths, black eyes flickering over the man wordlessly for a few beats before he lifted a hand again, stroking it over Rodolphus's hair in a petting motion.
"You really are an odd one Dolph," he mused, falling back on the more accepted nickname for the man than his usual 'Roddy'. "Most of those that've been rotting in Azkaban want the blood of ones like me that stayed clear. Then again, rationale isn't exactly their strong point."
As the conversation turned to Bella and Alecto, Amycus actually started laughing again, eyes closing as the noise escaped him, teeth flashing in a wide grin.
"Oh I think I can bet what went wrong with dear Rab and his contract," he snickered, before waving a hand to dismiss the notion. "Well I can understand the draw to Bellatrix, but you've shot yourself in the foot with that one. Mad as a dog, in love with the Dark Lord and sterile to boot. Should have stuck with Alecto- you'd still have those twelve years of your life and probably a few brats by now."
"Then again," he added fairly, arm tucking behind his head. "Can't say I'm to dissapointed - as fun as it would have been having you as a brother in law, I'm not ready for Ally to start popping out babies and settlign down. Much to dull, and I expect she'd object to me drowning them in the sink."
"You can keep the applogy though," Amycus finished with a wide smirk. "I don't care about it, and Alecto will shove it down your throat. A woman scorned Roddy - and Alecto does not take well to being scorned."

Rodolphus listened to Amycus a thoughtful look on his face. "You know, you do have a point about the opportunities here." he said. "I never put it in that perspective before, but it makes sense." he added and shifted in his seat to a more comfortable position.
"Oh they want your blood, but for reasons that no one can make any sense of." he added. "I dont want your blood, it is pointless, and it weakens our position. Logically it was a good move on your part, it gave us forces that were able to help immediately. The one who's blood I wanted was Karkaroff, which as it turned out we got, so my desire for revenge was sated for the moment."
Laughing along with Amycus as he described Bellatrix, Rodolphus shrugged. "There is nothing I can do about her now, and I know that she loves the Dark Lord, it was something that she spoke about often while we were in Azkaban." he said. "She may be Mad but she is effective in what she does."
He paused and his eye took on a far away look. "I think I would have a family now, if I had stayed with your sister." he agreed. "And I won't be apologizing any time soon, I would rather use the Cruciatus on myself," he paused. "You know I think that would be the more merciful route, that what your sister would do to me if I attempted an apology."

Letting out a low chuckle, Amycus favoured the other male with a wide, toothy and rather suggestive grin.
"My dear Roddy," he purred. "If YOU wanted my blood, you'd only have to ask."
As the conversation turned back to Alecto, the mans features turned to something more sadistic, eyes glittering with mirth.
"Indeed it would be the kinder of two options," he agreed without needing to muse it over. "My sweet-Sister always was well versed in the arts of totrure, she makes Crucios seem like a lover's kiss when she feels like it. Were I you, I'd suggest getting back into her good books fast, before her dislike of your wife paints a target on your back. I'd hate to have to help her kill you after all. Not when we're just starting to cozy up again."
Though spoken lightly, there was a underlying warning there - Alecto WAS entirely capable of turning fully on the other man, depending on what way her whim fell, and while Amycus was rather fond of Rodolphus in his own twisted way, and was quite looking forwards to having a playmate back, there was very little he would deny his twin. If Alecto was out for Rod's blood, Amycus would be little help to him.

Rodolphus shook his head in amusement at Amycus's comment about blood. "Asking takes half the fun of the hunt our of it." he said.
He paused and tilted his head, he knew that the twins would do anything for each other, it was understandable, family was like that, and even more so for twins. He knew he would help his brother do anything he needed, it was just how they were. He had seen the twins working in unison before, and it certainly was a sight to behold. The fluidity that they worked with was amazing and simply beautiful to watch.
"I would hate for you to have to kill me as well." he commented. "I will do my best to get back in her good books." he said. "After my time in Azkaban, things have become quite a bit more clear to me, on how my life turned out. Things that I should have changed, or done just slightly differently. Leaving your sister was the largest one."

"You'd rather chase me down?" he asked, amusement growing. Idly he wondered if Rod was even aware of the innuendo of their conversation - with him it was entirely possible he didn't. But then again, that was part of what made him so amusing.
"Good boy," he added, face shifting into a satisfied look of aproval, dark eyes running over the other man in consideration. "Play your cards right I may help you put some of those mistakes to right..."

Rodolphus looked over at Amycus in amusement. "Yes I would rather chase you down." he said. "It would be more entertaining for both of us."
He paused thoughtfully at Amycus's words. "I appreciate the offer, it means a lot to me, that you would offer air after all these years."

"Now see? *That* is why I like you~ You always know how to make me feel wanted," he joked back fluttering his lashes for effect.
As the conversation moved on however, the wizard's face shifted into dark humour at the other's expense, like a cat toying with a mouse.
"Ah, ah, Roddy. I said I may help you," he countered with a cheshire grin. "If you play your cards right, though you can still be greatful that I'm inclined at all. It's more than I'd give to most."

Amycus rolled his eyes. He swore Rod could be thick as a brick house sometimes, it was no wonder Bella took such delight in dominating him.
"If you really want feel free," he drawled back, pushing himself into a sitting position at last. "But I was talking about our deal."

"Some of us still are," the male twin replied with a cat-like smirk before letting his eyes glint with cool amusement as he ran his gaze over Rod again.
"And if I said I wanted you?" he asked eyebrow arching as his gaze shifted to hold the other man's, his voice a low playful caress. "My price for helping you with Ally was the chance to play myself? What would your answer be then, hmm?"

Rodolphus nodded in agreement with his comments about people still being bloodthirsty.
When Amycus mentioned play between the both of them his eyes widened fractionally for a moment before he regained his composure. That was something that had never crossed his mind, not at all within the realm of possibilities he had thought of. He took a few moments to consider it, his thought racing wildly.
It wasn't as if the idea repulsed him, after all he had done something similar before, a very long time ago. He took several minutes to contemplate his answer. "I would not be opposed to the idea." he admitted.
