Transfiguration Classroom

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Actually I tested the waters, as you say, Professor, before my mother wrote to tell me about the arrangement they want to make," the teenager said.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus chuckled. "Well that is certainly interesting." He mused. "So what about the promise you made to me?" He asked her a small smirk upon his face.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"What has one to do with the other?" Pansy inquired innocently.
"If the marriage is arranged, it is obvious that I will have no saying in the matter," she said softly and gazed down at the floor.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"So you still wish to continue our arrangement then?" Rodolphus asked with an arched eyebrow.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I like our arrangement," she gazed up at him. "Don't you?"

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Oh I certainly enjoy it." Rodolphus replied. "But will your families be accepting of it, and does it violate the contract, thus causing a rift in Our Lord's forces?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I do not know what the contract stipulates and it hasn't been signed yet, because of my reputation," she shrugged.
"But our arrangement can come to an end if it causes problems, and I believe you would agree, Sir," Pansy added.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I do." Rodolphus replied. "However that doesn't mean it ends yet."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Well, then we agree," she smiled. "May I be excused or would you preferred if I stayed and practice?" she asked politely.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"You may leave if you wish." Rodolphus replied. "Your lessons can continue in private."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I shall see you later in that case, Sir," she gave a playful smile, pocketed her wand and picked up her bag.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I certainly plan on it." Rodolphus replied as he watched her leave. "Do not be late to our next lesson." He reminded.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I've never been so far," she chuckled and gazed at him.
"This... dating thing doesn't mean I lose track of time, Sir," she added.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"That remains to be seen." Rodolphus replied easily. "I have seen it interfere in the past, we shall see how it works for you."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy inclined her head and closed the door behind her, her smile still dancing on her face as she gave one last look.

*Time-Skip*

Rodolphus sat in his classroom flipping through the assignments and muttering under his breath at his students the lack of creativity.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Watch your step cub," Pansy sneered in front of the door at a first year Gryffindor student who dropped his books in front of her.
"And move for Salazar's pants, I will be late for class because of your incompetence," she added before knocking on the classroom door.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus chuckled at the comments he heard out in the hallway. "Enter." He called when Pansy knocked.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I appologize for being late, Professor, sone firstie twat got all emotional and tripped right in front of me," she sighed.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I overheard." Rodolphus commented. "Lets begin." He said as he set a plant in front of him on his desk.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pqnsy nodded with determination and got her wandvready, aiming at the plant.
"Ready Sir," she said.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I want to see you transfigure that into a small viper." Rodolphus instructed.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes, Professor," Pansy nodded and focused on the plant for a moment before casting the spell, a hint of doubt in her voice as she said the words.
The ivy started to move slowly, the vine transforming into a snake little by little... but it had a leaf instead of a head, which made Pansy groan.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus prodded the thing in front of him and it did not move. "Again." He said after reversing the spell. "You need to be certain, your voice wasn't firm when you cast."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes, Sir," the student nodded and pointed her wand at the plant again. She sighed and retrieved her hand.
"Professor, what spell would you use to stop the transformed snake from attacking?" she inquired.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Good question." Rodolphus said with a smile. "It all depends on your intent when you transfigure it." He began. "There are several you can use, in most cases it is already part of the transfigurations."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"So, transfigure the vine into a snake, then back into a vine," the girl concluded.
She aimed her wand at the plant and swished her wrist, turning it into a snake similar to a viper. Only it didn't stop growing.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus watched in amusement as Pansy overcharged her spell. "Reverse it before it gets too out of hand."

[Pansy Parkinson]

The Slytherin student frowned with impatience when the spell wouldn't reverse. The snake had stopped growing though.
"Will... you... just... turn back!" she hissed at it.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Is there something wrong Pansy?" Rodolphus asked as he stood and moved around his desk.
