Alex walked into the room before gazing about and seeing that the girl hadn't arrived yet. He strode forward and then simply sat on one of the sofas, patiently waiting.

Pansy entered quietly and dropped next to Alexander with a sigh.
"Hello," she greeted him.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex looked up as the girl entered and watched as she fell down beside him. "Hey," he answered softly before tilting his head and observing her silently a moment. "...you alright?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I had better days," she winked and smiled.
"Detentions aren't what they used to be. Care for a soda?" she stood and paced towards the tea table to his right.

"Sure," Alex replied before standing, "I can get it though." He motioned towards the couch, "you should rest." He wondered how badly she had been hurt during that detention of hers.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"How nice of you," she grinned and sat back on the couch. She bit her lower lip as she settled in a more comfortable position.

Alex watched as she bit her lip and creased his brows in concern. He turned his head and grabbed a soda before looking back at her, "would you like one?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes please," she nodded. "How was the day on the Ravenclaw side of the castle?" she asked.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex grabbed Pansy a soda as well before making his way back to the couch, sitting beside her and holding out her drink. "Primarily uneventful," he replied. "It usually is." He then narrowed his eyes slightly as he considered the state she was in, "how bad are you hurting?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Thank you," she took the drink and a sip of it.
"Not very bad, I'm just sore," she hitched a shoulder. "Took a few Crucios, but I'll be fine. I just need to sit still for a bit."

[Alexander Chevalier]

"You're welcome," Alex replied softly before shaking his head, a slight anger present as he thought about what she'd had to go through. "Was it Lestrange?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"My personal tutor," she said dryly. "He will teach me how to be a flawless Death Eater," she added in a whisper as she leaned back against the couch.

Alex lowered his eyes as she said, feeling a little bit helpless in this situation. Was there really no other option for her? She was obviously against this path, but was being forced down it anyway. He didn't like that. She deserved to live the life she wanted. He sighed, "Pansy...are you going to survive this?" He smiled a little and lifted his eyes, "I'm worried about you."

[Pansy Parkinson]

The Slytherin gazed at him in surprise.
"Alexander... that is very sweet of you," she patted his arm.
"Don't you worry, I'm strong enough," she winked.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"I hope so," Alex's smile widened a bit, "stubborn enough anyway." He tilted his head then, "maybe, after you've been trained, you can repay the favor to him someday."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"And become what I would have been trained to become?" she raised a brow.
"Don't worry, I won't make this easy for him," she promised with a dark smile.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"That's good," Alex replied before shaking his head. "I don't know if it's such a smart tactic of theirs to train the people who resent them." He looked to her pointedly, "who might someday turn against them."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I'm the daughter of a Dearh Eater. I'm supposed to follow on my father's steps," she shrugged, but didn't comment on what he said. It was way too early to trust Alexander.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"You know," Alex replied, tilting his head then. "My way of thinking is, it doesn't matter who your parents are or where you come from, this is your life and you should be free to live it the way you want." He smiled a little, "I certainly intend to stray as far as possible from my own father's footsteps."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"The theory is excellent, however the practice... I do not have the luxury to choose. Not if I cherish my life," Pansy winked at him and removed her hand from his arm.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"But what value would that life have, if you don't fight for making it your own?" Alex glanced down as she removed her hand before looking back up at her, "And I'm not saying you should just recklessly oppose what they tell you to do, keeping yourself alive should be your first priority. However, there are people who will help you if you let them. None of us are alone in this."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy chuckled dryly.
"You are such an idealist, Alexander," she shook her head. She lifted her hand and caressed his cheek lightly.
"I hope you make it, I really do," she whispered to him before laying back against the couch and removing her hand.

Alex offered her a small smile. Yes, he was an idealist, very much so. "Thanks but," he sighed, "I'm hoping we can all make it out of this okay." This girl was sincere and straightforward, though also cautious. She didn't entirely trust him. He tilted his head then, "but anyway, why don't you tell me a little more about yourself?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Like what?" she asked with an amused smile.
"Din't you know plenty already, with all the rumors going on?" she chuckled.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"I try not to place too much belief in rumors until I've had a chance to verify them myself," Alex replied to her, smile widening a bit.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Soooo... you want to verify yourself if I'm the slut everyone says I am?" she raised a brow, her voice amused still.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex blinked, smile faltering slightly. My, she was very blunt. "That's not exactly what I meant," he assured her, composing himself again.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"What did you mean then?" she chuckled at the look on his face.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"Just that I wouldn't place a title like that on anyone," Alex replied with a small shrug, "without getting to know them first. In your case," he tilted his head slightly, analyzing her. "I think there's a bit more to you than that."
