Herbology Greenhouse

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Well," Millicent returned her attention to her housemate, "I try my best to make the most of it, of course. Still, there's only so much you can do when studying plants." It was seriously the most boring subject ever.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Yes well at least they're useful," Draco replied flipping through his book. "Unlike some of the rubbish they usually teach at this place."

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Guess that's true," Millicent replied as she blew at her bangs. "But it's just not very interesting. Also..." she appraised their teacher critically before lowering her voice only slightly, "the 'instruction' makes it so much worse."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco almost snorted... almost "Have you *met* the new Dark Arts professor? I'd rather this frumpy lout than that perv..." He shook his head slightly. "Speaking of that, how are you enjoying the new set up?"

[Millicent Bulstrode]

Millicent shrugged, "I don't know yet. I suppose it doesn't really matter to me either way. I mean, we'll just have to deal, right?" It was true, the new professors were a little creepy, but that could definitely turn out to be interesting. Still, she knew it was bothering Draco and she definitely felt sorry for her friend. His involvement with it all kind of sucked.

She sighed and rolled her eyes before smiling a little, "and no matter what they're like, it still doesn't mean I like her any more than I used to."

[Draco Malfoy]

The blond shot her an amused look "Duly noted. Either way a class is a class right, one more year then we're out."

[Millicent Bulstrode]

Millicent nodded, smile widening. "Definitely something to look forward to. You have any idea what you want to do after we get out of here?"

[Draco Malfoy]

"Right now I'm focusing on 'Be alive'," the boy responded in a dry tone looking at her. "I figure if I can manage that the world is my oyster..."

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Always such a realist," Millicent teased gently, before shrugging. "But it's a good point. Can't really achieve much of anything if you're wandering around as a ghost."

[Caden McGinnis]

Caden walked into the greenhouse, his eyes briefly scanning over the area, before he made his way over to the professor. "Hello there, Professor Sprout!" he greeted the lady with a carefree grin, as he offered a nonchalant wave. It was kind of nice to see a familiar face in this crowd of Death Eater's.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Yes well it is part of my charm," Draco replied with a small, amused look. "And that's more than true, look how useless the ones around here are."

[Millicent Bulstrode]

Millicent's eyes flickered towards Caden a moment before she retuned her focus to Draco, "I know! Those ghosts are so boring. They should at least go haunt something. Make themselves useful." She smirked, "part of the charm, eh? It is so very vast, isn't it?"

[Alexander Chevalier]

Walking into the class, Alex saw Caden and nodded before taking a seat near the center of the room. "Hello, professor," he sent a smile towards Professor Sprout. "Ginny," his gaze shifted and he nodded to her as well.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco saw the glance towards Caden and smirked "You know if you want to go over and drool on him, no need to make small talk with me..." he remarked dryly.

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Gross," Millicent chuckled, "me? Drool? I think not." She shook her head before crossing her arms, "It's been a little while since you and I have talked." She winked, "have to put my friends first."

[Draco Malfoy]

A brow rose before Draco remarked in a droll tone "Really? ... And you expect me to believe that as you undress another bloke out of the corner of your eyes?"

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Wow, Draco," Millicent rolled her eyes, though the smirk remained. "You are making such a big deal out of one, innocent little glance."

[Ginny Weasley]

"Like we haven't all been there before," Ginny offered wryly, shooting the teacher a look before the sound of a new student joining them distracted her. On spotting Bulstrode, the redhead resisted the urge to roll her eyes, lifting her teacup to her lips and finishing her drink before setting the cup back.

"Thank you for the tea Professor. I suppose I should go and get ready for class now before everyone arrives."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Not really it was some other class you were following behind him in too... transfiguration I believe. I'm just trying to help a friend," the blond responded simply with an innocent smirk.... well as innocent as a smirk *could* be.

[Ginny Weasley]

(sorry totally missed like the last two pages of posts when I put up that last one there...)

Moving to her seat, Ginny slipped in to a position next to the Ravenclaws as was becoming her usual in the absence of her own Housemates - Gryffindors were scarce on the ground these days.

"Alex, Caden," she greeted the boys offering them a small, friendly smile.

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"I was hardly following," Millicent responded before tilting her head and offering the boy an exaggerated smile. "But thanks, that's so sweet of you."

[Alexander Chevalier]

When Ginny came over to sit with them, Alex smiled and glanced toward their professor before returning his attention to her. "How was your tea?"

[Draco Malfoy]

"You're welcome," Draco drawled sweetly as well as he patted her head.

[Millicent Bulstrode]

"Agh," Millicent muttered softly as she cringed beneath his hand, "hair. Don't mess it up."

[Ginny Weasley]

Ginny shot the boy a droll look.

"Fresh," she quipped before rolling a shoulder. "It was fine, didn't really get a chance to talk much though as Bulstrode and Malfoy came in early."

[Theo Nott]

Theo entered the greenhouses. Noting who was here, he made his way over to Millicent and Draco. "Draco, Millicent." he greeted.

[Caden McGinnis]

"Alex, Ginny," Caden greeted each of them as they joined him. "And that's a pity," he remarked to the Gryffindor, "there's not much that can beat a good conversation."

[Ginny Weasley]

"I can think of a few things," she returned wryly, brushing her hair back from her face and shooting the boy a droll look. "But this year I think a good conversation is as best as any of us can hope for."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco shot Millicent a smirk "What's the problem? I think it looks charming."

[Caden McGinnis]

"Hey, never underestimate the power of words," Caden shook his head at the girl as her shot her a wink. "Even under normal circumstances, a conversation is somethin' to be cherished."
