[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus turned to glace at Lucius. "Hello Lucius." He greeted. "Still attempting to assert yourself with witty insults i see. You would do well to remember that your standing is not what it once was." He pointed out.

[Lucius Malfoy]

Lucius arched a single brow at the deranged Carrow brother. "What a pity, has it escaped your little mind already, Amycus?" he drawled. "I suppose it's only to be expected, though."

His silver stare shifting to Rodolphus, he resisted the urge to glare and merely put a smirk in place, taking it upon himself to ignore the majority of what he said. "How generous of you," he mused. "I rather thought it witty, myself."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus watched Malfoy for his reaction, not seeing any visible one but knowing the man well enough he simply smiled in return. "How is the family?" he asked easily.

[Alecto Carrow]

"Now, Now Lucy when asked you should tell… after all it's a lot to be ashamed of but so are your actions in dealing with your duties for the Dark Lord," Alecto offers pleasantly. "So please, let us know- what is the name of your new Course?"

[Amycus Carrow]

Amycus let out another chuckle, grin widening as he tisked at the blonde man.

"Ally's right, no need to be shy, Lucy-kins. We're all friends here," he agreed with his sister, eyes glittering with mocking amusement.

[Lucius Malfoy]

"Shy?" Lucius drawled. "If that's what you think I am, your powers of perception have only continued to dwindle, I'm afraid. But you're quite right, how rude of me not to supply an answer, when it's so exceedingly obvious you're having trouble retaining the information." Though the very words were like tiny stabs, wounding his pride, and though he winced internally even uttering them, his exterior betrayed nothing, and he didn't insert so much as a pause before adding, "Care of Magical Creatures."

Turning his silver stare to rest briefly on Rodolphus, he responded dryly, "And they're quite well, how kind of you to ask. Especially your dearest wife. In fact, last I saw of her, she was resorting to her usual methods and fawning all over the Dark Lord. I'm sure she sends her best."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Im sure." Rodolphus replied his tone indicating his slight annoyance. "Bellatrix will do as she pleases, i doubt anyone but the Dark Lord could stop her."

Tilting his head slightly in thought. "You are teaching creatures?" He asked amusement in his eyes. "How exactly do you plan on teaching that?"

[Lucius Malfoy]

That was the question, wasn't it? It was one Lucius had asked himself several times, and, to make it all the more humiliating, he had no answer. Incompetency, over that...

His expression unchanged, Lucius gave a subtle shrug of his shoulders, droning, "I suppose I'm what you would call...winging it."

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto laughed "So you don't know? Why Lucius, I may have to come and sit in on one of your little classes to make sure you have a good grasp on this whole... teaching, thing."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix pushed the door open, stepping inside, eyes running over the group already collected in the room, though her eyes lingered for perhaps a beat longer on Rodolphus than on the others. Black curls swinging behind her, she flicked her wrist, slamming the door closed behind herself.

"Well," she drawled, sounding caught between boredom and annoyance. "Isn't this nice?"

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto looked over, her gaze narrowing "Oh how lovely… IT returns. We're having a good old family reunion here- the only thing we're missing is Lucius's failure of a son then it'll be complete…"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix shot Alecto a sugary-sweet, albeit dangerous, smile in return. "Hardly," she replied, her tone oddly light. "Seeing as we're barely related. Though if you and your darling brother want to leave, we'll start with the family fun then."

[Alecto Carrow]

"Now now Bella, as Deputy Headmistress I can't in good conscience leave you here alone with Lucius. Some of the failure in his genes may rub off on you and we can't have one of the Dark Lords most promising servants being tainted," Alecto replied just as sweetly.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"No need to worry," Bella assured her, moving across the room to slip beside Rodolphus, close to him. She directed a falsely friendly smile at Alecto. "I am immune to Lucius' failures, whether genetic or not. There is no danger of any tainting, disappointing though I imagine it must be for you."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus looked over when the door opened and a small smile graced his lips as his wife entered. "Bella," he greeted. "I was unaware you would be here?" he added in a slightly questioning tone.

Once Alecto and Bellatrix began to 'talk' he took a small step back, the arguments and fights between these two were a bit brutal, and bystanders certainly would get hurt if it evolved into that. He for one did not wish to be in the middle of the fight, though it could have many interesting outcomes.

[Amycus Carrow]

Amycus had been on the verge of answering the blonde back, when his eye was snagged by something *infinitely* more interesting.

"Aaah, Bellatrix," he crooned, head leaning against the side of his chair and tilting, dark gaze running over her form in idle assessment. "So our dear lord and Master has let you off your leash at last... to what do we owe the pleasure, sweetness? Are you here to join our illustrious number, or just looking for some.... 'family bonding'?"

The last word was delivered with a wide, toothy and entirely wicked grin in her direction.

He had to admit, he was somewhat surprised to see her here, though given Rod was sent out it was really only a matter of time he supposed... still... his eyes flickered for a moment to his twin, it was certainly going to make things more interesting either way...

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"The Dark Lord was under the impression you required assistance here," Bellatrix informed Amycus, her lip curling slightly in a faintly vindictive smirk. "So he sent me. Why, Amycus, disappointed to see me?"

[Amycus Carrow]

Leaning back in his seat, Amycus's grin widened to show more teeth, dark eyes glittering slightly as they met the witch's.

"Trixy-daling, when have I ever been disappointed to see you?" he purred back leaning an elbow on his arm rest to prop up his head as he sprawled out. "You're always such fun~"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I should hope not," Bella responded easily, matching him with a flash of a wicked smile. "Otherwise it would make things difficult." As if that would be the difficult thing - putting her and Alecto on the same team was akin to putting two male lions in a cage and expecting them to get along.

[Amycus Carrow]

"And we wouldn't want that, now would we?" he mused back at her, considering her for a beat longer, the sarcasm of her words hanging in thick the air, suspended by the tension between the two witches. Idly Amycus wondered what Rob was making of all this - his wife and the woman he was panting after both in a room together... And that didn't touch on himself. Poor Roddy... such a messy private life. He knew there was a reason they were friends. The man was ever so entertaining.

"So, dearest Trixie," he yawned, giving a slow, catlike stretch in his chair. "Are you here to inspire the minds of the younger generations like the rest of us? Or just to wander the halls like one of the ghosts, hmm?"

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"So what will you be doing here Bella?" Rodolphus asked seeing as the hostilities had slowed for the moment.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I am here to impose order," Bellatrix replied with a vicious gleam in her eyes, leaning against a spare desk, and deliberately ignoring Alecto. "To make sure the brats don't fall out of line. Apparently you've been having trouble with dissidents." There was a slight undertone of glee in her voice - though whether it was because of the change to 'impose order' or the supposed failure of those involved to keep control, it was debatable.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Stop baiting Bella." Rodolphus chided playfully, as he moved towards his wife. "You are here for intimidation tactics for the other students, which should work beautifully." he added as he reached her.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I'm not baiting anyone," Bellatrix objected, before smirking. "Yet. And yes, it will, won't it?" It was hardly arrogance, after all, given that it was perfectly true: her reputation preceded her, after all, and torturing two people into insanity was hardly a simple feat.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Of course you aren't." Rodolphus replied with a smirk.

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto laughed at Bellatrix's response "Ahh, is that what the Dark Lord told you? We were having trouble..." she gave a charming grin as a soft chuckle escaped again. "Well, he must have *really* needed a break... just *how* tightly were you clinging to his robes Trix? To have him create such an URGENT matter you had to INSTANTLY see to?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix gave Alecto a cold, haughty look. "I didn't say it was considered urgent or that I came here instantly, did I? And I would never cling to anyone's robes - it would damage my nails." She knew what Alecto was implying, she the other woman was trying to bait her and refused to rise to it. Alecto could joke and jab all she wanted, but they both knew the more annoying part was that Bellatrix was here, and not elsewhere, so she'd get her turn later. Besides which, they were supposed to be 'working together' and Bella had no intention of being the first one to break that rule.

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto rose a curious brow "Your nails have been done? Wow... what freetime you must have Trix, perphaps that's why you were sent here..."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Yes, that's why I'm here," Bellatrix drawled sarcastically. "I was on holiday. Now I'm back." Honestly, there were times when she felt they spoke different languages. "Of course, if you don't have any problems here, feel free to tell the Dark Lord."

[Alecto Carrow]

"Of course I don't object to my Lord's orders... if he needs a place to stick you I'm quite happy to be of any assistance he may require," Alecto replied simply with a subtle hitch of her shoulders.
