Statue of Gregory the Smarmy

■A statue of Gregory the Smarmy stands in a corridor in the East Wing, where Fred and George created their magical swamp before leaving Hogwarts for good (OP29).

Rodolphus made his way down the hallway and paused at the statue. He looked it over before shaking his head, and starting down the hallway once more.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Heels clicking softly on the stone floor, Bellatrix made her way down the corridor towards Rodolphus, following him past the statue without looking at it.

Hearing the soft click of a heel on stone, Rodolphus continued forward, his wand sliding into his hand discreetly.

She continued down the corridor, flicking a stray curl over a shoulder lazily, not noticing the movement of his hand for his wand.

Rodophus slowed his pace slightly, not enough to be really noticeable but enough for the person to close in on him. Once they had he pivoted and pressed them against the wall his wand pointed at them. When he realized exactly who it was he smirked. "Why are you sneaking up on me lover?" he asked as he loosened his grip.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I was hardly sneaking; it's not my fault you're paranoid," Bellatrix rolled her eyes, resting her head against the wall, seemingly perfectly comfortable, and running a hand up the arm pinning her to the wall. "Going to let me go or keep me here?"

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"That all depends." Rodolphus replied as he shifted to press his body against hers. "On what you had in mind."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

Bellatrix rolled her eyes, heaving a blatantly fake sigh. "Why what did I have in mind? Can't you make your own up without me, or must I do everything for you?" she drawled, shooting him a challenging, teasing look coupled with a pout. As she spoke, one arm snaked around his waist to keep him close.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus's smiled widened into a grin. "I can make up my own mind." he told her. "I just wanted to know if you had any new ideas." he added as he leaned in and claimed her lips on a kiss, his free hand tangling in her hair.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Moron," she managed to mutter half-heartedly before he kissed her. Knocking his wand away from her throat, she kissed him back deeply, her arm around his waist gripping his robes.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Breaking the kiss after a few moments Rodolphus leaned his head against hers. "I've missed you Bella." he said softly.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Mm," Bella purred, giving him an amused, coy smirk. "I can tell."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus kissed her briefly again. "It has been so long." he told her. "We havent had much time alone recently, just you and I."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"No," she agreed, considering that. Even she had noticed, despite her pre-occupation with hunting down the Order, that it had been a while, which, most people would agree, said something. "It's been very annoying." For all she didn't love him as such, she did like him, and spending days upon days running across England and Scotland and Wales with Dolohov and Greyback for company really wasn't something she'd ever choose to do.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"You wound me." Rodolphus replied. "You sound so enthuesiastic about seeing me again." he added in mock hurt. He did miss his time with her, they were married after all. Her focus on the Dark Lord while understandable was very trying for him. It certainly made things much more difficult than they needed to be.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Poor Roddy, so lonely," she mocked him, before flicking him a wickedly promising look. "I'll make it up to you later."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Promise?" Rodlophus asked with a wicked grin of his own.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

She shot him a half-annoyed, half-playful look. "Aw, don't you believe me?"

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I believe you." Rodolphus replied. "I just like it better when you promise." He added with a wink. "You always deliver on promises."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Yes, but if I made them all the time they would lose their value, hm?" Bellatrix raised an eyebrow at him, her hand running over his shoulder muscles, pressing down through his robes. "And spontaneous things are so much more fun."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus tilted his head to the side. "That is very true." he agreed. "And I do enjoy it when you surprise me." he added his own hands resting on her hips pulling then closer together.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Precisely," she purred up to him. "So you'll just have to wait and see, won't you?"

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus nodded before leaning in to steal another brief kiss. "I am surprised you are here." He admitted.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Well, hopefully you'll get over that soon enough," Bellatrix drawled in reply. "Since I'm here for a while."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus chuckled. "I just expected you to be with the Dark Lord." He said. "Or at leastnon a mission for him away from the school, where your talents might be better applied."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I was before," she replied. "Now I'm not. He thought I would be better placed here."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus shrugged. "As out Lord wills it." he remarked. "So what do you have planned for the students?"
