Rodolphus studied her for a few moments shrugged. He turned back to the essays and continued going over them a sigh or shake of his head happening with each one.

"I want nothing to do with leading an army." Rodolphus replied. "I want people to be able to do what is asked of them, without needing to be shown how every time. I could also care less about people who die, if they applied themselves they would live longer."

Rodolphus shook his head. "You are all fools." he said. "You can form opinions based on knowledge you have, not knowledge yet to be gained." he muttered. "I suppose I should be a bit more detailed in what I want from my assignments and what happens when they aren't done correctly."

Rodolphus looked up from the papers and nodded to Pansy. "You may Miss Parkinson." he answered. "You are expected to do the work, not have every single paper be identical. Everyone takes each assignment to the most detailed and straightforward answer, why is there not a single person who writes an essay with their own opinions, or theories?"

"There will always be someone stronger and more Powerful than you out there." Rodolphus replied. "You need to know when you should step back and let that person or those people pass." he informed her. "You will always have to answer to someone, in one way or another."
He turned his gaze to Theo and studied the boy for several long moments, not saying anything.

"The difference between you and Miss Bulstrode here, is that you tend to be a bit more vague in your statements." Rodolphus commented to Alecto. "Additionally, you have skill and power to make people think twice about angering you."

*Reboot*
Rodolphus sat at his desk, feet kicked up on one corner as he flipped through a stack of essays he had assigned to his fifth year class. "Why are they all so predictable." he muttered.

Rodolphus turned to Millicent as she commented. "It wasnt exactly unexpected, his meaning behind it however is more amusing to me." he stated before turning back to Alecto.
"Oh I fully understand crazy." he replied dryly. "That tends to happen when one lives in Azkaban for fourteen years." he added with a shrug. "My wife's insanity was just pushed a bit further that others."

Rodolphus raised an eyebrow at that. "Do you mean to tell me that you believe that Professor Carrow would be less likely to torture you?" he asked and his eyes widened in amusement and realization. "Oh that is entertaining." he commented with a smirk in Alecto's direction.

Rodolphus's eyes snapped from Alecto, whom he had been looking at in amusement to Nott when he spoke about two others. "And just who would those others be boy?" he asked his eyes dark and his voice cold.

Rodolphus grinned at the boy, he had certainly grown some stones it seemed. That comment could end really poorly for the boy if he wasn't careful about his next answers. He glanced over at Millicent waiting for her to comment on the goings on.

Rodolphus shook his head at the two of them. "You two look at things it two totally different ways. Both will work, but you both need to understand and accept that others will not always agree with you." he told them before turning to Nott. "Your method will leave you without many friends." he explained before turning to Millicent. "And yours will leave you with a lot of exploitable weaknesses, and the boy is right, you need to hide your emotions better, I saw the contempt you had for him in how you spoke to him."

Rodolphus listened to the two bicker at each other in amusement. When Millicent addressed him and tilted his head to the side. "Do you really believe that?" he asked her. "Valuing someone will mean that they value you as well? I am certain Mr. Nott here valued Mr. Zabini's use in that class, he was useful in the fact that he took Professor Carrow's attention off of himself, and placed it onto someone else." he told her.
"Do you believe that Mr Zabini now values Mr. Nott because of that?" he asked. "Your reasoning can be used on either side of the argument." he concluded.
