Alexander and Pansy

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Ah, but there's that too, huh?" she grinned.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"I don't know," Alex replied, still observing her. "Why don't you tell me?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Why would I do that?" she raised a brow. "It's my own business how I live my life and who I sleep with," Pansy took a sip of her drink.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex smiled and nodded, "fair enough. That's a good answer." He took a sip of his own drink then before narrowing his eyes a little in thought. She wasn't a very open person at all. Very guarded. He'd say it was a trait that would help keep her out of trouble, but she seemed to find trouble for herself anyway. Outspoken as she was. "Hey, by the way, did you ever get a chance to speak with Slughorn? For the Forbidden Forest visit?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy tsked.
"Sorry, was too busy getting Crucioed by Lestrange," she shook her head and shifted on the couch, revealing most of her leg.
"I'll go talk to him tomorrow, we have Potions with him in the afternoon."

Alex glanced down as the girl shifted, that motion of hers not escaping his notice before he again nodded and looked to her, "that's fine. Just whenever you get around to it." The way she so offhandedly spoke of her 'detention' was still a little troubling.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy studied the Ravenclaw with an amused smile.
"Not used to Crucio much, are you?" she asked him, ignoring the fact that he was gazing at her legs.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"No," Alex responded as he shook his head. "Not really." He'd been a witness to it though. On more than one occasion. His thoughts automatically turned to that day in the Great Hall with Caden and Alecto.

He immediately tried to divert his thoughts, but the image of that woman lingered. He hadn't seemed able to completely cast her from his mind since the encounter they'd had in the Hospital Wing. He looked to Pansy again, "have you ever actually...cast it?"

Pansy nodded, looking away from her schoolmate.
"It's... I don't know how to explain. Makes you sick to the stomach and attracts you in the same time."

Caden had described it in somewhat the same way. Alex's eyes lowered as he considered it. "I see." So, she had. He wasn't surprised, just a little upset with their situation. They were being forced into doing so many things they didn't want to do.

[Pansy Parkinson]

The Slytherin gazed at him in silence, not sure what she could say.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex looked up at Pansy and smiled a little. Again, he mused that the pressure on the Slytherins was a great deal higher than for the other houses. It was expected of them. "Anyway," he decided to change the subject. "When did you first decide that you want to travel?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Second year actually. My parents took me to Spain for the summer holidays," she smiled back to him.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex nodded, "and what did you like most about that country?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"The food... it was amazing!" she chuckled. "And they have a very nice countryside too."

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex returned her chuckle with a soft laugh of his own, "the food, huh? Yeah, I've heard it's pretty good. Kind of spicy, right?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Not all of it. And they have a very tasty smoked ham," she gulped. Speaking of it made her hungry... especially since she had skipped lunch and dinner that day.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex observed her then, the amusement increasing. She really liked food. That was something he hadn't known about her. "Would you like to get something to eat?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"That would be nice," Pansy smiled and blushed. Did her stomach make noises?

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex observed that blush of hers and his smile widened a little bit. Was she embarrassed? He glanced about his surroundings then, "what sort of limitations does this room have?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"None that I know of... just focus on what you'd like it to have," Pansy replied.

Alex nodded and focused on something primarily simple. A dining setting with a small table and a couple of chairs. This room was certainly strange, shifting like this into something else entirely. He stood then and looked down at the girl before offering his hand.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"How gallant," Pansy smiled and took his hand, standing.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"I have my moments," Alex responded with a small smirk before leading her over to the table and then reaching out to pull out her chair. "Seems appropriate for the situation, at least."

[Pansy Parkinson]

The Slytherin chuckled and sat down.
"Well thank you. It feels nice to be treated like more than an object from time to time," she winked.

[Alexander Chevalier]

"I imagine so," Alex responded, keeping his tone playful and returning her wink before taking the seat across from her. It did admittedly bother him a little, that she was implying prior, less than ideal treatment. However, he was determined not to think on it. "So...smoked ham, right?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes please. With a slice of melon," she smiled widely.
"Then we can have roast beef with baked potatoes and carrots and for desert chocolate ice cream," she licked her lips.

Alex raised a brow then, the amused and somewhat surprised expression returning to his face. She was getting pretty excited over this. "Of course," Alex nodded. "That all sounds great." It was a fair bit of food, but the girl definitely seemed hungry. Why shouldn't she indulge in this after the ordeal she'd gone through? The requested items were summoned into the room and he tilted his head and simply continued to watch.

"What?" Pansy's brows raised in confusion. "Why do you look so surprised?" she asked Alexander.

[Alexander Chevalier]

Alex wondered how he could respond without offending her. It was just an unexpected interest of hers. He shrugged then and offered a smile, "no, it's not that. I just didn't know this about you." His smile widened a little, "your enjoyment of food, I mean."
