"I can do that," Blaise comments. He had missed this easy comradery last year. The acceptance that he would never intentional hurt Draco.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco offered him a wry smile "Though I suppose it is partially my fault, I shouldn't have risen to his bait..."

[Saka (M.H.)]

Blaise raises a brow at this, true there were times Draco had impulse control issues, but this was beyond that. "This is not your fault. What did you do? Defend one of the bloodtraiders?"

[Draco Malfoy]

The blond snorted, forgetting his decorum in the wake of the pain "I'm not that stupid... however his constant jabs at my family and their status finally won out and I mouthed off a bit. He was looking for a reason anyway..."

[Saka (M.H.)]

"Those two usually are," Blaise says with a shake of his head. Making jabs at the blonde family was a sure fire way to get on his bad side and held at wand point. "You know if it was anyone else, within reason, I would not let this go unanswered. We watch out for each other."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco offered Blaise a wry smile "Honestly? I don't know anything anymore... but thank you... I do appreciate it. With everything that's happened..."

[Saka (M.H.)]

"You're talking about last year, right," Blaise says looking Draco in the eye. Yeah they had drifted apart last year; that didn't mean they were not still mates. "You are still important to me."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Starting since then, before then... ever since that whole stupid ministry thing Father was involved in..." Draco sighed closing his eyes.

[Saka (M.H.)]

"I guess I can understand," Blaise says with a nod. "I never stopped caring about you. At the risk of sounding like a total Puff, I miss you."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco opened his eyes and looked at Blaise for a long moment "I missed you too... I just... with everything, I just... I don't know Blaise. I'm not even sure I know myself anymore..."

[Saka (M.H.)]

Blaise nods his head at this. "You don't have to know right now. Just don't shut me out, or at least try not to. And I'll do the same.". He hoped they could at least do that much.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco looked up at him for a moment before giving a stiff nod, then promptly muttering several curse words.

[Saka (M.H.)]

"What?" Blaise asks in slight concern. There had to be something he could do.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Just forgot for a second not to do that," Draco remarked wryly. "Is it weird that I'm not as mad as I was though? I mean, though the cursing part sucks, this is the most we've talked in over a year."

[Saka (M.H.)]

"You were in a bad spot place before, and I was preoccupied," Blaise says willing to take responsibility for his part in their fall out. "I do wish we had started rebounding under better things. It shouldn't have taken you getting cursed for us to talk."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I can't say I disagree, after all I would prefer a conversation where it didn't require so much work to hold my head up," Draco remarked in a droll tone.

[Saka (M.H.)]

"So let your head rest on the table," Blaise remarks with a shrug. "I won't tell anyone."

[Draco Malfoy]

That would require leaning forward which would hurt my back," the blond sighed. "I honestly just want to go and lie in my bed, but I doubt walking any distance is not in my immediate future..."

[Saka (M.H.)]

Blaise thinks for a moment considering possibilities. "I could conjure some cushions for you?". He offers finally.

[Draco Malfoy]

"For here?" Draco asked looking at him in surprise "What if Slughorn or someone shows up? Or, worse yet, the Carrows come back? I don't want you to get into trouble with me."

[Saka (M.H.)]

"If they come back I'll be in trouble before they get in the room," Blaise says with a shrug. "Besides your my mate you're worth getting in trouble for.

[Draco Malfoy]

"War is making you sentimental Blaise," Draco joked, mainly because he wasn't use to such feelings being displayed -especially in Slytherin house.

[Saka (M.H.)]

"What can I say,"Blaise says in a nonchalant way. "I was thinking that you would not want other students walking in."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I don't," Draco responded with a soft sigh, rubbing his brow. "I need to get back to slytherin... perhaps a bit more potion will be fine. How long has it been since you gave me any?"

[Saka (M.H.)]

"About half an hour," Blaise says standing up. "I'll call Dippy when we get to the dorm., unless you prefer now."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I'll need it if I want to make it to the dorm. It won't get rid of the pain completely, nothing can but time. But I'll be able to walk without excruciating pain," Draco replied.

[Saka (M.H.)]

"Dippy" Blaise calls before a smallish bat eared creature appears holding a clear green vial. "Dippy was waiting for call," the creature says handing Blaise the vial before popping away.

"Here you are," Blaise says handing Draco the vial. She is atune to my wants.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Thanks," Draco said accepting the potion, his movements still stiff. He took the potion slowly and closed his eyes allowed the pain potion to sooth his joints and muscles.

Blaise watches Draco closely waiting for a sign that the blond was ready to go.

After a few moments the blond opened and closed his hand, he felt stiff and sore but it wasn't the burning pain of before. He looked at his mate "That's much better, thanks Blaise."
