Dark Arts Classroom

[Alecto Carrow]

"I suppose everyone needs a puppy to kick now and again," Alecto allowed. "Though the Dark Lord has much better than her, however she will, literally, do anything. If I had a minion like that I'd use them up as well."

[Theo Nott]

Theo knocked briefly on the door to the classroom before poking his head through the door way. "Professors? May I come in and have a few moments of your time?" he asked politely. "I have a few questions in regards to the lesson plan for this year."

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto laughed softly looking over at the boy "Aww, your first student with questions… ins't this sweet. Come in," she sang.

[Theo Nott]

"Thank you Professor." Theo replied as he entered the room. "I am glad that you are both here." he added as he approached. "I have a couple questions for both of your subjects." he explained as he removed a quill and some parchment to take notes.

"My first one applies to both classes, will we be learning the most effective and efficient ways to remove the muggle filth from the world, for Dark Arts, and In Muggle studies will we be learning what their biggest weaknesses are and how to exploit them?"

[Amycus Carrow]

Amycus was interrupted by the sound of the knock at the door, head turning as his sister called for them to enter in his stead. He didn't bother moving from his feet down from the desk or in any way altering his casual, comfortable position as he watched the boy enter, sharp eyes studying his every move. Slowly a predatory smile unfurled on his lips.

"What's your name, boy?" he asked in a low croon.

[Theo Nott]

"Theodore Nott, Sir." Theo answered his posture and tone exactly as his parents had drilled into his head in pure-blood etiquette lessons.

[Amycus Carrow]

(Father presumably, if you're sticking to canon, then Nott's mother died when he was very young, presumably giving him the ability to see thestrals in Hagrids lessons)

"Nott huh?" Amycus mused, head tilting as he ran his eyes over the boy. "Avery's son?"

Avery Nott was a cowardice bully and one that was of little interest to Amycus, however he was at least another death eater... The boy was a pretty thing - obviously took after his mother more than his flat faced father. Clearly a kiss ass, however that could be fun in itself. He'd play along for now and see how he felt like treating the pup - with the boot or with the bone.

[Theo Nott]

"Yes sir." Theo answered. His eyes took in the man before him, taking in his expression and words. He wasn't sure exactly what they meant, but he didn't want to offend the man. Not able to keep eye contact with the older man, because he was a bit unnerving Theo looked back down at his parchment.

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto grinned and shot her brother a look as the boy averted his gaze "Now, now Amycus, let us play nice. Sure his Father is an undenyable coward however we now have the chance to teach the boy to be much better than that..." her gaze flicked over him. "As for your question to me, in Muggle Filth studies we will learn whatever my whim decides we do. So, unfortunatly, there is no way to fully prepare..."

[Amycus Carrow]

Amycus grinned back at her, eyes flashing playfully.

"So we do," he agreed, voice dipping down as he let out a low chuckle. "How fortunate for you, baby-Nott, my sweet-Sister and I are here to shape you into a proper man. You should be grateful~"

"And my lessons are to teach you Dark magic, precious child," he added lazilly, foot pushing his chair back as it swung on its hind legs. "Plain and simple. And if you're lucky some survival techniques. How you use them I don't much care... though I'd recomend for the cause if you want to get anywhere in life. Elimitating muggle filth is a good place to start.

"If you really want to impress me," he added with a wicked smirk, eyes shifting back to the boy. "Be creative. And enthusiastic... I do like to see potential in kids, don't you Alecto?"

[Theo Nott]

Theo listened carefully to what was being said. He bristled slightly at his father being called a coward but calmed himself. Finishing his brief notes he understood a bit more about these two professors, not much but enough.

"Enthusiastic." He said mostly to himself. "I can do that." He told them as he looked up his eyes shining with interest.

[Alecto Carrow]

"Always," Alecto said though internally she wondered if this kid really did have any real potential. However, she supposed she'd see soon enough...

[Theo Nott]

"Is there anything in particular that I should bring with me to classes?" he asked them both. "Or will standard supplies suffice?"

[Alecto Carrow]

Alecto laughed and looked fully at the boy "Are you serious?"

[Theo Nott]

Theo looked a little taken aback. "I am." He said. "I wasn't sure if you had any special equipment requirements or if both classes would be primarily practicals."

[Alecto Carrow]

"Oh my," she continued to laugh sliding off of the desk and over to the boy. "How quickly you go from amusing to an annoying insufferable little brat. I've already told you that I plan on being unpredictable, do you think I've a list of supplies to hand you for my class?"

She asked this sweetly while dusting unseen lint from his robe shoulder.

[Amycus Carrow]

"And what precisely WOULD I ask you to bring to one of my lessons do you think? Or Alecto's to hers for that matter?" Amycus asked lazilly, humour on his sharp features. "Enlighten me."

(Eh, missed that last post, but it still works)

[Leanna Barker]

"One of those filthy mudbloods for target practice." Leanna supplied an answer as she stepped into the classroom. Her eyes ran over the two adults and Theo. She gave the Slytherin a slight nod and leaned against the table closest to the door. "But as there's probably enough in the class we don't have to go and find our own." Her fingers combed through the ends of her red curls, pulling them straight then watching as they sprung back into curls.

[Amycus Carrow]

Amycus's head turned at the sound of a new voice, his eyes narrowing as they settled on the form of a redhead as she invited herself in, not bothering to knock nor ask to join the conversation. Slowly a nasty looking smile spread over his face, his hand flicking as a wand clicked down from his arm holser, to let his long fingers toy with the wood suggestively.

"Now now what do we have here?" he mused out loud, voice lilting dangerously as his wand tapped against his thigh.

Alecto turned her attention to the girl who suddenly walked in and then she looked at her brother "My, aren't you popular…"

[Leanna Barker]

Leanna's eyes dropped to the wand, a stillness coming over her as she forgot to breathe. Her lips parted and she took a deep breath. "Sorry for interrupting." she murmured. Her hands dropped from her hair but she didn't make any move to leave. She'd put her foot in it again and this time it wasn't another student. Leanna resisted the urge to look at Theo, he wasn't going to help her.

[Theo Nott]

Theo looked up when Leanna entered and winced internally know that she had just stepped into a situation that he had already made rather tenuous. "To answer your question, something that could be used in a more personal way than a wand against a mudblood." he said. "Or something to use for a more inventive way to deal with them." he added, setting back to watch the teachers reactions to Leanna and stilling himself when Amycus drew his wand.

Alecto looked at Nott "Hmm… you wish to make a good impression do you not?"

[Theo Nott]

"Yes." Theo replied honestly, there was no point in trying to deny his reasons.

[Alecto Carrow]

"Come along," she said beckoning the boy away from the other student and her brother to an farther area in the room.

[Theo Nott]

Theo followed her deeper into the room, hoping that he hadn't made a mistake and offended her.

[Alecto Carrow]

"Tell me Theodore… what are your views on the efforts our Dark Lord is making for the Wizrding world?" Alecto asked fixing his hair.

[Theo Nott]

"I think that he is doing something that needed to be done long ago." Theo replied. "The Dark Lord, is standing up for the people who deserve to be running the world." he paused a moment in thought. "His methods are exactly what was needed. The mudbloods are trying to push their ideas and beleifes on everyone else, and they need to be made an example of." he added

[Alecto Carrow]

"Exactly, and not to mention people now have to *earn* their place in this world instead of it being on name alone, right?" Alecto responded raising a questioning brow.

[Theo Nott]

"It is insulting to think that they believe hard work makes you eligible for leadership." Theo replied. "Pure-bloods have been born and raised to lead, it is our right. Mudbloods have no business trying to change what has worked successfully for generations."
