[Draco Malfoy]

His son just looked at him, then blinked and tilted his head "Come again?"

[Lucius Malfoy]

"Is it your ears that aren't working, or is it the portion of your brain that's supposed to encode the sound into a tangible piece of information?" Lucius drawled, in no mood to repeat himself. To repeat that. "Either way, you'll probably want to have that looked at, son."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Ahh... so it seems I had not heard incorrectly..." his gaze flicked over his Father as he fought an amused smirk. Oh how the mighty have fallen.

"Either way I seems my hearing is fine, no need to fret," Draco added with an incline of his head. "However I do thank you for the display of concern."

[Lucius Malfoy]

"Oh, no need, it's my pleasure," Lucius assured him dryly. "I'm glad to hear everything seems to be in order." He did not miss that amusement which sparked in Draco's eyes. As if it wasn't bad enough... No matter, there was no point in dwelling, it was all just a means to an end.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco just inclined his head but did not add anything further. (We can make them a room now if you like)

[Lucius Malfoy]

(( Yeah, sounds good to me *nods* ))

Well, he had answered the most basic question he had needed to know. Draco seemed to be alright. That was enough, for now.

"In any case," Lucius continued, "you'll have to excuse me. And I realize I've probably put a hold on your discussion," he gestured between Draco and Theodore. "Why don't you finish telling him about your summer?" He gave a slight inclination of his head, before turning and taking his leave of the pair, exiting the library altogether.

"Right..." Draco muttered wathing the man go with a frown. He sighed and shook his head but refrianed (For now) from smashing his head against the desk.

Pansy entered the Library and smirked. Finally some peace and quiet. She made her way to a table in a corner and opened one of the books Lestrange gave her.

Draco entered the library, he'd been keeping his head down for a bit and so far -so good. Though he had to admit it helped that the Carrows had been pulled for some Dark Lord Minion work. He walked passed Pansy barely noticing her as he headed to the back of the library and up a slightly hidden set of stairs to a nook he'd found back in his second year when the whole Prince of Slytheirn rumor had started.

"Draco?" Pansy whispered as she watched him pass by her without even saying hello.
"Hey, are you alright?" she took her book and followed him.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco paused on the stairs, blinking at(what he thought was) the sudden appearance of Pansy Parkinson. The blond boy frowned, his brows furrowing just a bit in thought, had he passed her?

"Oh... uh, yeah... I'm fine," his gaze flicked over her as if recalling a memory or some time gone by "How about you? I haven't spoken to you in quite a while, yeah?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"This is like deja-vu from last year," she chuckled and smiled to the blonde. "Where to?" she motioned towards the stairs with her head.

[Draco Malfoy]

He chuckled softly, running a pale hand through pale hair before looking up the stairs and then back down at her "Just to a bit of quiet I found a few years back..." his gaze flicked over her. "I suppose I can show you, but no bringing your boytoys up here, yeah?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"It will be our secret, I promise," Pansy replied, her face turning serious. She placed her book carefully in her bag and paced forward to walk next to Draco.

He wagged his finger at her once more for good measure before giving the girl a wink and crooked smile, turning he resumed his trek up the stairs and to the area he'd located.

It was a cramped space, a single large over stuffed sofa and coffee table sat surrounded by bookshelves of books long since forgotten. Loads of books on Muggles, girly romance novels and discarded magazines. Draco did a quick clean with his wand before flopping gracefully (somehow, it must be a Malfoy thing) onto the large sofa and shooting his mate a dimpled grin "Go on, have a seat."

Pansy's eyes were lit in wonder and mischief, she didn't know this place existed. She looked around, then gazed at Draco... he seemed relaxed and he smiled.
"I really like to see you smile," she murmured and sat on the sofa next to him.

[Draco Malfoy]

The boy sighed and let his head fall back against the sofa "I suppose it has been a while... things are... well, not the climate for such things. But this place is..." safe? -He couldn't say that to her, he'd sound like a ponce. "Free... I suppose so I allow small rebellions like happiness and relaxation from time to time," he finished instead, lulling his head to the side and quirking a brow as he looked over at her.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"This is like an impenetrable balloon, hidden but in sight... it's a place to be safe," the girl said. "Better than the Room of Requirement since I am ready to bet that Filtch doens't know about this little spot," she grinned.
"What?" she quirked her brow in return.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Nothing... feels weird... you in my space like this." He made a slight face "I didn't even bring you here when we were dating."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to impose. I haven't seen you in a while and I just wanted to chat, but I will leave if that's what you want," she assured Draco.

[Draco Malfoy]

The second brow joined the first "Are you serious?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

She frowned a bit at his question.
"Errr... yes. What makes you think I am joking?" she asked quietly.
"I can very well understand that you need some space. I'm not that close-minded," she shrugged.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco sighed and sat up, regarding her silently before speaking.

"In all the years we've known one another have I ever come off to be to shy to tell a classmate or friend even exactly what I think when I think it?" Silver eyes locked upon her awaiting the answer.

"Not that I recall, Draco," she shook her head.
"Oh...oh! I got it!" she raised a hand in the air, a smile flourishing on her lips.
"Sorry, I have a lot on my mind lately," she gave an appologetic look to the blonde.

[Draco Malfoy]

"I hope so...I mean I could always spell it out to you but I didn't take you to be such an airhead... don't make me regret giving you too much credit Pans," Draco responded, after all why would he even show her this place to begin with if he only wanted her to leave.

"So... what kind of crap is on your mind that's making you as slow as Goyle these days?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Don't compare me to that troll," she pouted.
"I'm being trained by your uncle," she sighed, tapping her schoolbag. "For I don't know which reason, he insists on teaching me the Dark Arts," she added sarcastically.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco tilted his head thoughtfully "Hmm... I can't decide if I'm relieved or jealous..."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I can't decide if I run for my life or stay. He is quite interesting and intelligent," the girl raised her hands in the air.
"Errr.... not in THAT way," she added quickly.

[Draco Malfoy]

The boy made a face "I hope not..."

"Interesting and intelligent, huh?" he frowned thoughtfully, in truth he knew nothing of the man. He'd spent most of Draco's life in Azkaban and since getting out, besides occasionally when at Aunt Bella's side he didn't even acknowledge the young Malfoy was alive let alone his 'nephew'.

"I was surprised, you know? He started cursing me, so I was thinking he is yet another brute but... I suppose it could be a facade," Pansy leaned her head on the edge of the sofa.
"How are you? Is your father training you?" she asked Draco.
