[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Make sure you do," Bellatrix instructed him, noticing the look but ignoring it. Narcissa liked to do the same thing with the same look; frankly, Bella wasn't bothered by it. She hadn't even understood when she was the child in question, she had no idea why people looking at her like she shouldn't understand was supposed to bother her.

The boy shook his head lightly though an amused smile played on his lips as though she had missed some untold joke "I will..."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Good - and expect another assignment in a month or so," Bellatrix instructed him. "Something might come up."

[Draco Malfoy]

He blinked and frowned looking over at her "What kind of assignment?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I'm not the Dark Lord, how should I know?" she rolled her eyes at him. "He didn't say, I didn't ask. Just make sure you're prepared for anything. You can't afford to mess up again."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco frowned looking away, muttering to himself "Does it matter?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"What did you say?" Bellatrix asked sharply, having heard him mumble something, but not the words.

The boy looked at her "Did I say something?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Yes, you did," Bellatrix frowned at him, before deciding it probably wasn't worth it. Draco could talk in circles - another gift from his delightful father - for hours, and it was unlikely to have been anything important.

He looked back at her blankly as if asking her to tell him what he said if that was true.

"Irritating brat," she muttered in response, rolling her eyes.

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco glanced over, looking at her. He didn't know what to say or how to talk to the woman. Did she know anything about him beyond what the Dark Lord had told her? Did she hate him? Or not care either way?

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Contrary to popular belief, I don't bite, so if you have something to say, spit it out," Bellatrix ordered him, before smirking a bit to herself. Well, she didn't always bite... only if provoked.

[Draco Malfoy]

"I'm not sure what I should say since, to be frank- I don't really know you," Draco responded with a light hitch of his shoulders.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I would be offended, but I don't even remember your birthday, so I suppose we're even," she responded dryly, before raising an eyebrow at him. "Didn't Cissy tell you anything?" It seemed strange, Cissy not gossiping to someone, not telling tales to Draco, when she'd so loved doing it with Regulus and -. Regulus. She would have thought Cissy would have, but perhaps things had changed.

[Draco Malfoy]

"Besides the fact that you're her sister and you were put away after the first war- no," Draco said, though to be fair he was pretty sure his Father was more the reason the subject of Bellatrix was off limits more than his Mother.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"All the boring stuff, then," Bellatrix smirked. "Such a shame, really. You'd have loved some of the stories, I'm sure."

[Draco Malfoy]

He rose a brow "Like what?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I glassed Amycus at a ball once," she recalled with a fond, amused smile. "It's easier than it looks."

He turned and frowned "Wait what? How long ago?" Draco asked a bit of curiosity peeking through.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Oh, when I was nineteen," Bellatrix told him with a smirk. "It was your mother's first proper ball, and she'd asked me not to curse anyone because it 'made a scene' and it was her night, after all. So when he put his hands where I didn't want them, I smashed my champagne glass over his head."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Well... it wasn't a curse," Draco finished thoughtfully, though he looked quite amused. "Though from what I've seen of him he may have liked it."

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"Probably, but it meant he was at least preoccupied with picking the shards out of his head," Bellatrix replied diplomatically. "Though I did have to get another glass, and Cissy wasn't happy either."

[Draco Malfoy]

"I can't imagine she was, Mother's -at least now, very keen on everything going perfectly at her parties," Draco commented leaning against the ledge.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"You shouldn't lean so close to the edge, Drakie," Bella purred at him, her eyes gleaming viciously. "You might fall off - tumble all the way down like dear Dumbledore."

[Draco Malfoy]

Draco's turned his attention to the ground but didn't bite to her bait "I'm guessing you liked creating scenes at parties?"

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

"I didn't like it, or go looking for it," Bellatrix rolled her eyes. "It just tended to happen."

[Draco Malfoy]

"At every party?" Draco asked looking at her and arching a brow.

[Bellatrix Lestrange]

She shot him an annoyed look. "Not every one," she objected. "Only a few. I'm not quite as bad as your father implies I am."

[Draco Malfoy]

"Ahh, only a few- noted," Draco said with a smirk.
