[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus shook his head. "Do you have an owl?" He asked easily.

"No, I don't Professor," the girl replied with a tad of sadness in her voice. "It died this summer," she added and looked back at her book quickly.

"Use a school owl to order some." he suggested. "Going into the forest to harvest at this point is foolish."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Perhaps," she shrugged at his suggestion. She did promise to a certain Ravenclaw she would organize a late night trip to the forest at some point...

"Do as you wish." Rodolphus replied at that before turning once more to his paper work.

"I always do, Sir," Pansy said and restarted writing on her list of ingredients.

Rodolphus remained silent and continued with the papers. After about fifteen minutes he finished the last and set the stack aside.

Pansy looked up from her parchment briefly, shrugged and turned the page of the text book in front of her.

"Is there anything you wish to learn in this class?" Rodolphus asked after a few minutes of silence.

"In your class?" Pansy looked up at the Death Eater.
"Yes, I would like to learn how to become an Animagus," she replied after a second's thought.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Sadly, that is something I am unable to teach you." Rodolphus replied. "I do not have a form myself, and it has been a very long time since I attempted that bit of magic."

"Well..." Pansy murmured, surprised by that moment of sincerity.
"What can you teach me that would be extremely useful in combat and is related to Transfiguration?" she inquired.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"So you want to learn combat transfiguration." Rodolphus mused. "I am not certain that is something i can teach most of your classmates. That would be better served in our private lessons."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Really? In that case, could you all teach us basic combat transfiguration? It would certainly make the class more lively," Pansy replied.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I dont doubt it would." Rodolphus replied. "But again there are certain classmates of yours that i dont believe i should teach it to."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Ah, la Resistance," she chuckled. "In that case you should probably ask all the students the question you asked me, Professor," she offered.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"You are the one i have taken under my wing." Rodolphus replied. "I am more concerned with what you want than any other student."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I have special treatement, nice," she smiled.
"But as you just said, Sir, you can't teach me in front of the rest of my classmates. So you still need to figure out what you teach them," Pansy mused, playing with her quill.

"Which is why i am asking one of them now." Rodolphus replied. "You are aware of what your class's mates have been taught."

Pansy nodded and sighed.
"My classmates, as you could see, are intimidated by you and your methods," she said.
"Try teaching us interesting spells, something we won't find in the text book," she suggested.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I believe most of your peers are intimidated by their own shadows." Rodolphus stated. "But you do have a point."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy giggled at the comment.
"You'd be surprised. But you must admit Death Eaters are impressive," she said.

"A portion of them yes." Rodolphus agreed.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Well, the ones in school are scary," she shrugged, rolling her parchments neatly on the desk.

"Scary doesn't equate to impressive." Rodolphus commented.

"Professor... you do realize we are teenagers, right? Hormonal, emotional and all that," the Slytherin said with amusement.
"It's funny how adults seem to forget how it is," she added.

"It has nothing to do with age, it is all a matter of perspective." he said. "Fear can be impressive, but it is not the best way to go about it."

"Considering us mature enough to react as an experienced adult is not the best way to go about it either," she commented.
