[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus sighed. "What do you mean perhaps?" he asked. "You already stated that we are intimidating, why would anyone do anything to gain our attention?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Every anti-hero needs a hero," she chuckled. "Don't you find it odd that certain students returned to school after it had been taken over by Death Eaters? I certainly do," she shrugged.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Odd?" Rodolphus asked. "No not really, It makes sense for them to be here. Gathering information, or even in hope of preventing us from attacking them outright. Then again, most Light people dont think we would do anything to children."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I guess you prooved them wrong," the girl said. "Hogwarts is no longer a safe place."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Hogwarts was never fully safe." Rodolphus said. "People put far to much stock in its protections."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"It was safe while Dumbledore was in charge," the student replied.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Really?" Rodolphus asked. "Then what happened in your second year was considered safe?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"You mean the Basilisk? If Potter would have kept his nose where it belongs, the poor creature would still be alive and well," she huffed and shook her head.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Basilisks are anything but poor creatures." Rodolphus replied. "It was only a matter of time before it got someone it wasn't meant to."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"It remained in the depts of the castle for Merlin knows how many years," she countered.
"It wasn't a threat until Golden Boy opened the chamber... Heir of Slytherin my... " she stopped suddenly and gazed down.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus laughed at her. "You believe Potter opened the chamber?" He asked in amusement.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Yes. Didn't he?" she raised a brow at the Death Eater.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

Rodolphus shook his head. "He did not." he said. "Well at least not until he went down to 'save' the Weasley brat." he said.

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy frowned. Ginny was no heir of Slytherin, do how did she get in that chamber?

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"With everything you know about Potter, do you truly believe he would attach his mudblood best friend?" Rodolphus asked her.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"He wasn't himself that time... He... he was totally off," Pansy mused.
"I even saw Dumbledore avoid him, and that was unusual."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"That is a valid observation, however from everything I have heard about the boy he would never attack someone he deems a friend." he replied. "After all he only surrounds himself with two people."

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Weasley and Granger are the ones with him all the time, but there are a few others too," Pansy shrugged.
"So... are you saying Weaslette opened the room by herself? I find that hard to believe," she said.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"I have no idea who opened it." Rodolphus replied. "I just do not believe it to be Potter."

[Pansy Parkinson]

Pansy took in a deep breath and gazed at the window, lost in thought.
"It doesn't make sense, he's Parslemouth," she shook her head.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Just because he can speak that does not mean he opened the chamber." he said. "Are you even certain that it is required to open the chamber?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I tried every spell I could find to open doors of any kind and it didn't open for me," she looked at her Professor and blushed.
"But I did that after the incident, so... maybe it has something to do with it."

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"You know where the chamber is?" Rodolphus asked in amusement. "Are you certain that it is where you were attempting your spells?"

[Pansy Parkinson]

"I know where it is, Professor. I can show you, if you want," Pansy said seriously.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Maybe before the end of the year." Rodolphus replied.

[Pansy Parkinson]

She nodded, gazing down at her textbook.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Something the matter?" Rodolphus asked as she gazed at her textbook.

[Pansy Parkinson]

"Show me how to transfigure plants into animals, Sir," she stood, wand ready.

[Rodolphus Lestrange]

"Plants into animals?" He asked. "You want to go living to living?" He double checked.
